At Decathlon, we’re committed to protecting our oceans. That’s why we’ve designed this product to have less of an impact on the environment, particularly on the seabed. The formulas have passed algal and coral toxicity tests carried out by an independent laboratory in accordance with the ISO 10253 and ISO 8692 standards. These tests showed that our formulas have no negative effects on marine flora and fauna under normal conditions of use.

Compliance with Hawaiian law

To protect underwater ecosystems, the US state of Hawaii has banned the use of certain chemical substances in sunscreens as of 1 January 2021. The Hawaiian law covers chemical substances such as oxybenzone and octinoxate, which are commonly found in sun creams but are likely to harm or even destroy coral reefs. Our formulas comply with these regulations.

Precautions for use

Shake well before use.
Apply generously and evenly before sun exposure and re-apply frequently, at least every 2 hours. Avoid sun exposure during peak sun hours. Sunburns are dangerous, especially for children. Do not expose babies or young children to the sun or heat.
Avoid direct contact with clothing.

Quality commitment

Decathlon goes further than international cosmetics regulations and has prohibited more than 1000 controversial substances from being used in our products, even if they are allowed on the market. Such substances include endocrine disruptors and certain preservatives.

We designed this product to limit its environmental impact as much as possible:
